NETLO App

About the project

NETLO is a mobile application designed to serve diverse demographics throughout Quebec, with subscription options available for the general public, entrepreneurs, and partners.

This project was a collaborative effort with my team, where I took the lead in UX Design across various stages. The UX execution involved creating user flows, iterating on wireframes, and integrating the new branding into mock-ups. Finally, I conducted usability testing on the finalized flows using XD and Maze before proceeding to development.

The challenge

"What are the essential modern features for an app offering a broad range of discounted prices, and how can we enhance its interface?"

The project began with the objective of revitalizing and enhancing the business model of a former discount program, Programme Gratitude. The founders wanted to introduce fresh perspectives with personas specialized to the business's needs.

Our Response

The Netlo App was created with features that assist users in discovering discounts quickly. Users could navigate through an intuitive location map or a convenient list of companies to find suitable offers.

User Testing

We run three usability testing prototype versions in Maze on September 2020. Giving us the 52% usability score. If you would like to read the complete report, please click the button below.

Results

"How did we change your direction because of what we discovered?"

We had several reviews on the onboarding. In the first usability testing we found out that the horizontal orientation of the items wasn't the best option, then we changed to a vertical scroll. After that we review several times the different questions to connect the users with previous app programs if it was the case. In this part we evaluate the less steps possible to do this connection and to avoid confusion in the user.

Here are a few screenshots displaying our findings post data analysis, along with the proposed enhancements for Phase1.
